Katie Sammis (Writer) is a novelist who is also a screen writer. At one point, she considered getting her PhD in environmental studies to try and fix the world, but more recently hopes that she can reach people and effect change through her creative voice. With engineering and economic degrees from Cornell and Stanford University, she can dissect the complicated issues surrounding global climate change, but believes that people learn more through story and dramatic tension then through lectures and hysterical lamenting (sorry, Al Gore)

Kate Phelan (Director of Photography, Pirector) lensed the first season of TOSH.O and the Emmy nominated web series HONESTY both for Comedy Central. She’s shot promos for CBS, VH1, TBS, Nickelodeon and E! as well as pilots for MTV & VH1. Feature film FALL TO RISE screened at Lincoln Center’s Dance on Film series in 2015. Kate is also a returning part time camera operator on ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK (Season 4). Currently on the festival circuit is her short VISIT 57. Kate was short-listed for AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women in 2016. katephelan.net.
